Long awaited – now finally published: the first set of drafts of the European Sustainability Standards (#ESRS). At its meeting on 15 November, the @EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board published the first twelve standards, including sustainability topics such as #climatechange, #biodiversity and #ecosystems, #resource use and #circulareconomy or workers in the value chain. The ESRS are based on already established standards such as GRI or SASB. Nevertheless, companies that will be required to report in accordance with these standards on a staggered basis over the next few years should start dealing with them now.
