Shirin Gomez has more than 15 years of experience in implementing ESG and environmental management projects. She is specialised in Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) and ESG reporting in accordance with various international frameworks, in particular the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) under CSRD and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). She supports companies in strengthening their ESG strategies, implementing regulatory and market-related requirements, and preparing auditable reports for public communication. Her previous professional experience includes environmental impact assessments, the development of environmental management and monitoring plans, as well as stakeholder engagement strategies.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Environmental Management and Ecological Research from Monash University, Malaysia, and a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Hydrogeology and Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt.
