Dr.-Ing. Maike Hora has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), carbon accounting, ecodesign, and circular economy. At e-hoch-3, she focuses in particular on identifying weaknesses and improvement potentials of products and processes across the entire value chain and on practically integrating ecodesign into the innovation process. She is actively involved in national and international research projects on circular economy, bioeconomy, and innovative manufacturing processes. In addition to her entrepreneurial activities, she has been a long-standing lecturer, among others at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, teaching in the fields of LCA and environmental engineering.
Maike Hora is part of the lecturing team at the e-hoch-3 Sustainability Academy and is responsible for the mandatory module ESG Overview and the optional module Environmental Protection & Ressources.
Maike Hora studied civil engineering with a focus on environmental engineering and earned her doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) from the Technical University of Darmstadt in the field of waste management engineering.
